Does anyone have a New Years resolution? I've been reading a lot of them lately on everyone's blogs.The only time I made a New Year's resolution was in 3rd grade. And that was because my teacher made all of us students. My resolution was to be able to pronounce my R's. I had the cutest wittle voice but tended to mumble a lot and say my R's as W's (kinda like Elmer Fudd). So In the year of 1998, I perfected my R's. I figure since most people never stick to their resolutions, I'd stop while I was ahead. Now I can honestly say, I have followed through on all my New Years resolutions.

That is the cutest story!! I stuck to my resolution of giving up pop last year & am determined to get my health/weight in control this year. 1 week down and I haven't given in yet! ;)

Haha great story! I never make resolutions either. One time in middle school my BFF and I resolved to stop smoking pot. It was pretty easy since we never smoked in the first place.

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for saying that! I used to look horrible in hats. My sister would always laugh at me (and I'd laugh at myself) when I put them on in stores. Then one day, it was like a miracle, and all of a sudden hats didn't look so bad on me. lol. I knew if I didn't give up on hats, they wouldn't give up on me.

Oh I'm a big goal-setter, so I definitely have my resolutions broken down by year, six month, three month, etc etc. That's what you get for having majored in motivational psychology!
