With Thanksgiving here tomorrow, it has me thinking about a lifelong question I have pondered...Why do people serve Thanksgiving dinner so early? Everyone serves it at like 2:00 in the afternoon. Come on people, that's not dinner, that's lunch! I think anything served before 5:00pm cannot be considered dinner. And if you plan on serving it early, then why not call it Thanksgiving lunch? But in the end, as long as I get my pumpkin pie and sparkling cider, I'm a happy gal.

such a cute outfit!! our family eats early - i think it helps justifying eating a lot because it's lunch and dinner :) LOVE that scarf!
ReplyDeleteLove that scarf & the handbag....why don't I have a faux fur purse? I need to get on that. Anywho, we do Thanksgiving dinner at 2pm also...pretty sure it's so we have all this delightful family time afterwards. Which, depending on the year and everyones moods is a-okay with me.
ReplyDeleteHappy Turkey Day!

Mo Mother in Law and my Mom serve theirs at 6. I wish one of them would serve it early so I could go to both. Instead I go to one this year and the other the next year. Grrrrr. I think the 2 pm thing has to do with the football games? I love your boots! You looks soooo tall in these pics. How tall are you?
