Before this year, I had never ventured to a store for the door buster Black Friday sales and I can say with confidence that I will not be doing it ever again. It's pure craziness! My sister and I were sitting on the couch around 8:30 Thanksgiving night and thought "Target opens at 9:00. Let's go see what the whole Black Friday shopping experience is like." We thought that we'd get there a little after the doors open and missing the big rush to get in, we'd be able to just walk right in the store. We thought we'd kind of stroll through the store, taking in all the madness that is Black Friday (er, Thursday). We'd maybe pick up a few things and be on our way home within the hour; being able to say we've experienced Black Friday. Goodness gracious, were we wrong! The lines are insane! We had to wait in a super long line to get in and then after we pushed our way through the store, picking up a few items along the way, we had to wait in an even longer line to checkout. Needless to say, we couldn't hang with the die-hard shoppers. We put our items back and vowed never to return for Black Friday sales. We'll stick to the online shopping sales instead :)

I have not done Black Friday either. I remember back in the day - they used to show on the news people camping out of Best Buys a couple days before so they can be 1st in line. Now that the stores are opened on Thursday night - I think more people like you and me and thinking - let's give it a try & there's even a bigger crowd. I can't stand crowds or stand in line so no Black Fridays for me in the near future :)

Yeah, Black Friday is always a mess. That's why I just avoid it all together. Plus, all the good deals go through the whole weekend anyway, so it feels like it just wasn't worth all the insanity.

Last time I went Black-Friday shopping, I was with my boyfriend. By the time we were on our way home, we were both so stressed and grumpy that something so little started a massive argument! He didn't talk to me for like a day and a half! Not doing Black Friday shopping ever again haha. On another note, looooove your top!

It is way too crazy! I went to Target at 4 pm on Friday and by then all the craziness had died down :)And it seemed like they had tons of things left...TVs were all over the place.

I love that you've paired your shorts with some high boots! We don't have Black Friday sales here in Canada, but we do have Boxing Day (the day after Christmas), and it's the same thing every years: ultimate chaos!! I think the best way is to do some cyber shopping and avoid all the large crowds of people trampling over one another.The good part is some of the sales go on for a few days, but the downfall is you don't always find what you are looking for, or your size.

Yep....that's not how it happens:) I'm a hard core Black Friday shopper. We went to JCP and I want just grabbing piles of clothes and then finding the right size later. It's blood and death that day! But you look fabulous which is more than a lot of us can say;)

These pictures are beautiful! I've only gone Black Friday shopping once. My cousins and I were in delirious food comas and at 10pm we decided on a whim to drive from Sacramento to the Vacaville outlets to see what Black Friday was like. It was chaotic and overwhelming, but we were so delirious that it was funny and exciting, too. I wouldn't do it again, but it was fun to have that experience.
