Normally, I like the hubby's taste in decoration. We even had a conversation the other day about how we want our house to have a country/garden feel to it (right now it's a little more on the western side). Then the hubby comes home with "treasures" (his words not mine). He "scored" five pieces of "artwork" from a coworker for free. You can't pass up a deal like that, right? Well, you can when the artwork is framed pictures of ducks, wolves, deer, ect. I hate it! I told the hubby, there's a reason his coworker had to get rid of the "artwork" and that reason is that he just got married and his wife doesn't want it in her house. So why would I want it in mine?! The pictures definitely don't fit in the country/garden theme. Goodness gracious...men!

Love pink and turquoise necklace! Haha, that is pretty funny. If it makes you feel better, we have a Coors Light neon sign hanging in our living room. I figure once we get a house it can go in the "man cave".

Haha, yes, typically free home decor is not the greatest. Bless his heart for being so excited. Can you banish said artwork to the garage?!? ;)
ReplyDeleteLoving that you can still rock the shorts. Fall is here in full force and brought some wind with it!
Sequins&Stilettos

ReplyDeleteYou look so pretty, love the pink top and your shoes are amazing. So my husband tried that once too.. he came home with a HAND DRAWN painting that his friend did when they were 16. I told him he could hang it in the garage. It's been there since and he hasn't tried to pull that again! :)

Oh lordy. My husband doesn't bring home art work, however he does think it's 100% necessary to take anything and everything deceased family members have left behind. Don't get me wrong, I am all for having something that reminds you of a special family member who you loved and missed dearly....but I can do without the 100's of mini figurines from his grandmother, several pieces of old furniture in desperate need of repair & upholstering in our garage...the list goes on and on.

Ha! That's almost as bad as my husband wanting to hang a puzzle he had finished AND framed in our house. Oh yeah, it's hanging in is man cave! Gorgeous bag, btw. xo
ReplyDeleteLol. I found a bunch of framed photographs of bear, wolves etc. in the boyfriend's closet. I suggested they go to our church's Goods and Services Auction (to be fair they actually use "framed wildlife photography" as an example of something to donate....) Yikes.
ReplyDeleteCute outfit though.
Look at those legs! They are a mile long! Lucky lady :)

When we first moved into our apartment I fell asleep so my husband took it upon himself to decorate the apartment himself while I slept through the night. So now there are swords, fangs, and random asian signs all over the house. One day I will just go crazy and take everything down! But ducks and deer? Wrong.
ReplyDeleteThat is a nightmare! :) At least you look great even though the artwork doesn't! :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I love the color combination and the leopard shoes!

Ahhhhhh!!! At least it was just pictures of wildlife instead of mounted heads or something. LOL. Yes, men. You look fantastic as always, and I want to know what your workout routine is!
ReplyDeleteOh, he tried to get a mounted deer in the house once. Luckily we were just storing it until his dad came to pick it up so we only had it for a couple weeks.
DeleteMy workout routine isn't anything special. I work out for about 45 min-1 hour 4 or 5 times a week. I just run on the elliptical for 30 minutes then do some arms stuff with the resistant bands. I do some squats and some ab stuff too. I have bad feet and knees so I have to do things that aren't too hard on them. Sometimes I'll do one of the Turbo Jam workout videos :)
This outfit is super cute. Love the necklace.
