So I'm walking around in these shoes when all of a sudden, I feel something inside the shoe touching my foot. My first thought is...SPIDER! (I have this fear of spiders in my shoes. I'm pretty sure that's where they like to hang out when they aren't in their web). I quickly fling off my shoe and see something fall to the ground. I slowly move closer to inspect the situation. Turns out it was just a penny. Good news, there's no spider living in my shoe and I am one cent richer. Really, could you ask for a better day?
P.S. Thanks Sister for letting me borrow your top :)
*Rememeber the baseball tee I wore in Monday's post? It's now available online here :)

ReplyDeleteLove how the orange and blue looks together plus it's the colors of the Mets :) Glad it was just a penny and not a spider! Have a great weekend, Kacie!

Haha, how does a penny get in your shoe while walking? But who cares, a penny saved is a penny earned, right! You look adorable. :)

ahhaha, when I was a kid, my mom always had me shake out my shoes before putting them on! So to this day, I do that with my running shoes ;) I hate spiders!
ReplyDeleteI love these shoes though! I've always wanted a pair of these UO pumps. Are they true to size? I go between a 6 1/2 and 7...
They are true to size. I can wear between a 7 1/2 to 8 1/2 depending on the shoe (and I wear size 9 in tennis shoes because of my orthotics). I got the UO shoes in size 8 and they fit perfectly :)
DeleteI love this outfit! Those shoes are so cute, I love the heel on them! They're unique but still classic. :)
ReplyDeleteLove your cobalt denim with the orange pumps! Such a cute look! Happy Friday :)

Kacie, that's too funny because that's my husband's biggest fear too is having a spider in his shoe.
ReplyDeleteWe live in VA and the recluse spider is famous around these parks...
BTW, love the outfit and the shoes are just fabulous :-)

I think I saw a documentary about that type of spider and it's was freaked me out. I live in CA so we don't have those here (at least I don't think we do) but it still scares me.
Deletehahahaha!! That's a good one! I hate the very thought of any bug living in my shoe too! Love the cobalt blue pants and the orange pumps!

ReplyDeleteEwww! Happy it wasn't a spider in your shoe!
ReplyDeleteAdorable outfit!
Cute top, love the cobalt jeans with the orange shoes! And I'm glad I'm not the only one that has a fear of spiders in my shoes!!! I keep a few pairs of sneakers and boots in the basement for "outside" shoes (lawn stuff, rainy days...) and I'm always terrified that a spider has made a home in them. Glad yours was just a penny!
